Dear Fellow Citizen of Sierra Leone:

THE SIERRA LEONE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT (SLID):
His Excellency, President Ernest Bai Koroma has asked all Sierra Leoneans to put our shoulders to the wheel of development of our country. In the past several years, most of us in the Diaspora have discussed various ways we would like to see our country develop. We have blamed systemic corruption and a national leadership that lacked commitment to bold national development for the poverty and lack of basic infrastructures in the country. We all agree that the problems in our country are many and complex. There is no easy fix, but a “Sierra Leone Infrastructure Development Partnership” has been created to help all Sierra Leoneans join in ideas and action to develop our country. We are looking to grow this partnership to include any Sierra Leonean who believes in the basic principles on which we are founded:
The attached “Sierra Leone Infrastructure Development Proposal” is a road map to achieving the above stated goals. We believe it supports the Presidents vision for our country, and we want you to join in implementing it.
